About Larkling

Two nests. One family. Flying together.

Our Story

Larkling started with a simple frustration: paying monthly just to send messages to my child's other parent. The existing co-parenting apps were expensive, adversarial, and built for a narrow idea of what a family looks like. There had to be a better way.

So I built it. Larkling is a free, inclusive co-parenting app that puts your family first — not a subscription bill. Core features are free forever. Premium is per family, not per parent. And the design is built for every kind of family from day one, not as an afterthought.

Founder, Larkling

Built Larkling after experiencing the frustration of co-parenting with tools that were expensive, adversarial, and designed for only one kind of family.

Our Values

🏳️‍🌈
Inclusive by Design
Custom pronouns, flexible roles, neutral language — inclusion isn't an add-on, it's how we built it.
💸
Free at the Core
Messaging, calendar, and expense tracking should be free. Period. Premium is optional.
🤝
Reduce Conflict, Not Add to It
We build tools that calm communication — not platforms designed for litigation.
🔒
Tamper-Evident Records
When you need court-ready documents, they're available — without building the whole app around court.

Where We Are Today

Pre-launch. The app is built and deployed. We're running an early access programme for the first 200 families, who get 1 month Premium free. After that, Larkling opens to the public with its free core tier and optional Premium upgrade.
